The parking lot cross has been a fixture at Lord of Life for decades. Unfortunately, in recent years, the cross has started to bend to one side. It was also recently discovered that the base of the cross has deteriorated and rotted to the point that it is becoming a hazard.
The Lord of Life Property and Technology Committee has decided to remove the cross in order to ensure the safety of everyone. Lord of Life volunteers will be removing the cross on May 1. At this time, there are no immediate plans to replace the cross. We will discern the future of this beautiful space and what should take the cross’s place during the coming weeks and months.
We know that for many of you the cross has been an important part of your time at Lord of Life.
