Hi, my name is Josiah. I am excited to be your new Youth Director!
I can’t wait to get to know y’all by name, hear your stories, and be a part of all the great ministry that is happening at Lord of Life. My wife, Carren, and I are looking forward to getting to know y’all.
A little about me…
In 2023, I met Carren; a few months later, we got engaged and were married the following year. I am a fan of sports, games, sci-fi, bike rides, reading, playing guitar, creative writing, and spending time with my wife and our two amazing dogs.
I am halfway through my first week here on staff and it’s been wonderful getting to know the staff and learning about all the great things happening here at Lord of Life! I am looking forward to getting to know our youth and families and wanted to create intentional spaces over the next few months and through summer to connect and get to know each other. I heard a quote years ago that I do my best to live by, “Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care.”
I know with Easter right around the corner, it’s busy and it’s not always easy to take intentional time to slow down and get to know each other. I have created a sign-up genius for after Easter for intentional time to start connecting with our youth and families. Please take a look when you get a chance. Looking forward to all that is ahead!
