On Sunday, February 15th, Lord of Life welcomed three new families at the 8:30 a.m. worship service. Please greet them when you have a chance!
Kara and Zachary Flanigan
Having recently moved to Texas from Ohio, Kara Flanigan enjoys hiking, reading, weekend trips, and birding. She has a deep love for the outdoors and for spending time with family and friends. Zachary Flanigan has found that moving to Texas for his job has led to a new chapter of his life, and he is excited to see where it leads. He enjoys being outside and spending time with his wife.
Rachel, Eric, and Freddy Willroth
Rachel, Eric, and Freddy Willroth moved to Cochran‘s Crossing last year and are excited to be part of Lord of Life. Here are a few fun facts about them:
- Before moving to The Woodlands, they lived in three of the four biggest Texas cities (Austin, Dallas, and Houston) and in Roswell, New Mexico.
- Rachel grew up as an LCMS PK (pastor’s kid) and spent much of her childhood in Giddings, Texas. Eric grew up here in The Woodlands.
- Freddy is almost 18 months old, and he loves identifying animals, pointing at trucks and dogs, and eating graham crackers.
- They all enjoy being active outside, playing with our dog (Maggie, a great Pyrenees mix), going out to eat (especially Tex Mex), and cheering on the Houston Texans.
Maria Ancheril and Mathew Chakala
Maria Ancheril was born in India and has been blessed to call Zambia, England, and now Texas home for many years. She cherishes time spent with her husband Mathew and their two children, Naomi and Noah. Maria previously worked in business development within the upstream oil and gas industry, where she held several successful roles. She enjoys volunteering, taking long walks, reflecting with the Lord, and finding joy in laughter every day.
Mathew Chakala was born and raised in India and moved to Houston in 1991. He currently serves as a Global Senior Manager at the American Bureau of Shipping. Mathew is passionate about leadership, building strong partnerships, and helping others grow in their calling. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, serving the community, and embracing fellowship and serving the Lord in every area of his life.
