Lord of Life Lutheran Church welcomes children and their families! Children are welcome to attend all Lord of Life worship services. We have age-graded classes during our Faith Formation time on Sunday mornings, music activities on Wednesday evenings, and milestone activities for each grade throughout the year. We also offer fun family activities (including Parents’ Nights Out!), family camps, and Vacation Bible School at the start of the summer. If you have any questions about specific programs for your child, please contact our Director of Children’s Faith Formation.
Sunday Mornings

On Sunday mornings during the school year, we gather at 9:45 a.m. for Sunday School for 3-year-olds through 4th graders and Club 56 for 5th and 6th graders. Not sure where to go? A greeter will be happy to point you in our direction. Parents are welcome to observe.
Pre-K through 2nd grade – Gather in Kids of the Kingdom Room 5; then break into two classes

3rd & 4th grades – Gather in Kids of the Kingdom Room 1; then break into two classes

Club 56 – For all 5th & 6th graders: meets upstairs in Room 26
Music, Meals, and More
During the school year, all are welcome for dinner at Lord of Life on Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m. Children’s music activities follow starting around 6:15 p.m. We have several opportunities for children from 4 years old through 6th grade to participate in music. Ensembles are led by Director of Worship and the Arts Dan Fenn and Children’s Music Coordinator Katelynn Watson.
- Age 4 through 1st grade – Choir and Music Fun! Choir, Percussion, and More
- 2nd & 3rd grade – Chimes and Choir (Kids can participate in one or both)
- 4th & up – Joyful Noise: Bells and Choir (Kids can participate in one or both)

Footsteps in Faith
Footsteps in Faith is a program at Lord of Life that provides opportunities and tools for children to deepen their faith and for parents to renew their commitment to faith education and their church community. Kids complete faith journey milestones that entail attending special learning events and receiving congregational recognition and blessings. Footsteps in Faith events are for kids through grade 6 and take place at various times throughout the year. As the date of each milestone class approaches, additional information will be emailed to families. Contact Nicole to receive Footsteps in Faith emails.
