Prayer

How can we pray for you today?

Prayer Requests

At Lord of Life, anyone can request prayer at any time by

  • Using our online form
  • Dropping a paper form in the locked Prayer Request box at the Welcome Center desk
  • Calling the church office and requesting a call from a pastor

You can also choose how we respond to your request:

Publicly – If you ask for public prayer, we will include your prayer request in the prayers of the congregation during Sunday morning worship, and we will share the request with Lord of Life’s Prayer Chain and pastors.

Semi-Privately – If you ask that your prayer request be handled semi-privately, then it will be only be shared with Lord of Life’s confidential Prayer Chain and pastors.

Privately – If you ask for privacy, then your prayer request will be seen only by our pastors. We will respect your confidentiality and only the pastors will pray for your request.

You can also tell us what other kind of care you might need—such as emergency financial assistance, a hospital visit, a meal or fellowship, or a conversation with a pastor. Unless you specifically ask us not to, a pastor will usually call or send a follow up note within a week or so to let you know that we are praying for your request.

The Lord of Life Prayer Chain

At Lord of Life, we believe that prayer knits our community together. Our Prayer Chain is a dedicated group of volunteers who lift up the needs and joys of our neighbors throughout the week.

Members of the Lord of Life Prayer Chain commit to (1) diligently pray for shared prayer requests and (2) maintain complete confidentiality. We consider every prayer request and any information related to a prayer request to be a sacred trust, and we hold them in the strictest confidence.

Unless you specifically request it, members of the Lord of Life Prayer Chain will never discuss prayer requests with anyone: not with you, not with other members of the Prayer Chain, not with ministers other than the pastors. Their purpose is to pray for our community members and honor their space and privacy.

Will You Pray With Us?

If you’d like to share in this quiet, vital ministry of care, we’d love to welcome you. The Lord of Life Prayer Chain has a private group on Realm. If you would like to join, please contact Pastor Harry.
