Why do you fast?
As we begin our Lenten journey, God reminds us that our fasting—or our “churchy” actions—are not what brings God joy. Instead, we are called to let our hearts be broken for the world and boldly care for our neighbors.
This service includes the imposition of ashes and Holy Communion to begin the season of Lent.
