Confirmation Class

Confirmation class is for 7th and 8th grade students and runs from September through May. This class meets upstairs in the Junior High meeting room (room 24).
This 2-year curriculum gives an overview of the Lutheran view of God’s work in the world, exploring the Bible and stories that bring our faith to life. For some, the class is a way to engage with their faith and claim promises made on their behalf when they were baptised as infants. For others, this is an introduction to faith and a chance to think about how God has been at work in their life. Facilitators and mentors aim to communicate to every student the love that God has for them and opportunities that exist to take ownership of their faith.
