Lent Midweek Worship

“What are you doing here?” When Elijah shows up at God’s mountain God sends Elijah back. We aren’t led to hide in the safety of God away from the world. We are led into the world with the safety of God on our back.

Join us throughout Lent for a midweek worship service of prayer and reflection. This Lent, we are stepping into the heart of the conversation. On Sunday mornings, we explore the deep, rattling questions we bring to Jesus—the ones about suffering, purpose, and the mysteries of life. On Wednesday nights, the tables turn as we sit in the “hot seat” to ponder the soul-searching questions God asks us. Whether you are seeking answers or learning to live with the questions, there is a seat at the table for you.

The Wednesday night Lenten collections will be set aside to reduce lunch debt for students at neighboring schools like McCullough Junior High and Glen Loch Elementary.
