Traditional Worship – Second Sunday of Lent

“Can anyone be born again?” When we come to God to ask about being born again, what we’re really asking is, “Can a person change after an encounter with Jesus?” Nicodemus doesn’t seem so sure, but Jesus expresses confidence that when we truly encounter the Spirit a change will be impossible to miss.
Our theme for Lent this year is QUESTIONS – A Lenten Journey of Inquiry. This Lent, we are stepping into the heart of the conversation. On Sunday mornings, we will explore the deep, rattling questions we bring to Jesus—the ones about suffering, purpose, and the mysteries of life. On Wednesday nights, the tables will turn as we sit in the “hot seat” to ponder the soul-searching questions God asks us. Whether you are seeking answers or learning to live with the questions, there is a seat at the table for you.
Join us on Sunday in the Sanctuary for traditional, liturgical worship. This service will be live streamed on our website and Facebook Live. The sermon, children’s sermon, and communion are part of every service. Hymnals and Bibles are available beneath the pews for any who wish to use them in addition to the sanctuary video screens. We also have hearing assistance devices available which can be accessed by asking an usher. Come as you are—there’s no dress code!
