Welcome to Lord of Life!

We are glad that you are taking the time to learn more about our community of faith. We’re committed to being a community that welcomes all people, explores our faith deeply, and serves our broader community with the love of Jesus!

Our many stories illustrate this. I can tell you about families who have found a home at Lord of Life because their kids felt safe enough and loved enough here to share their true selves and receive the blessing of this community. I can tell you about members who have been with us since our beginning in 1970, always striving to be a beacon of hope within The Woodlands and the broader community.
Lord of Life wants to be a place where all people experience the belonging we have in the family of God and we encourage you to check it out for yourself. You can worship with us in person or participate in our services online. You can join us for a Bible study or small group conversation. Or you can reach out to myself or another staff member directly and we would be glad to sit down with you.

If you are looking for a Church home, we understand that is never easy. Maybe you are new to our area and have just left a place that has been home for years. Maybe you have been away from faith for a long time, and something is nudging you to try it again. Maybe you or someone you love has been hurt by a community of faith before. Whatever position you find yourself in, whatever story has been written, and whatever chapters still lie ahead, you are welcome at Lord of Life. I hope you’ll join us. But more than that, I hope you are reminded of God’s boundless love for you.

Peace in Christ,
Pastor David Bauser
Lead Pastor

Sunday Mornings

8:30 a.m. — Traditional Liturgical Worship
11:00 a.m. — Informal Contemporary Worship

Sundays are a great time to come and explore life in our congregation. We’re an easy-going community of all kinds of people from different walks of life. When you come through our doors, you’ll be greeted and welcomed. The sanctuary is on your right as you come through the front door, but if you have a few minutes beforehand, you can strike up a conversation or sign in to let us know you’re visiting us.

At Lord of Life, we have two worship times with a Faith Formation (Sunday school) hour in between. The sermon, children’s sermon, and communion are all a part of every Sunday worship. Hymnals and Bibles are available beneath the pews for any who wish to use them in addition to the sanctuary video screens. We also have hearing assistance devices available which can be accessed by asking an usher. Come as you are — there’s no dress code!

How to Get Here

Our Address

3801 S Panther Creek Drive
The Woodlands, Texas 77381

+1 (281) 367-7016

Parking is limited at Lord of Life but we hope that we can help you find a safe place. If you cannot find a parking space in our parking lot on a Sunday morning you have two other options.

Street Parking

On Sundays, The Woodlands Township allows parking along either Glen Loch or Panther Creek. Please pull off the road and into the grass and do your best to ensure that your vehicle is not sticking out onto the road.

McCullough Junior High School

Across Panther Creek Drive is McCullough Junior High School. You can park either in the “U” (access at the intersection of Glen Loch Drive and Panther Creek Drive) or in the east parking lot of the school (access off Panther Creek Drive near Pinyon Pine Drive). Most Sundays, Lord of Life will have a golf cart available to shuttle people across the street to and from the parking lots.

NOTICE: As of December 21, 2025, parking in the “U” at McCollough is not available due to construction. See this blog entry for a parking map.
